Be Confident In Our Services

The Cecil Pregnancy and Family Resource Center offers free help to women who are making decisions about their pregnancies. Many of our Clients are faced with unplanned pregnancies and difficult decisions. No matter the concern, Cecil Pregnancy and Family Resource Center provides high standards of care and compassion for every woman who seeks help at our centers.

We are located in the Charles Brown Building, 126 E. High Street, Elkton, MD.

Do you think you're pregnant?

A missed period doesn't necessarily mean you are pregnant. You can take a free pregnancy test at the Cecil Pregnancy and Family Resource Center. Call (410) 398-7888 to make an appointment at our location, or simply come in at your convenience. You will have your test result before you leave.

If your pregnancy test is positive, we're here to listen and help you focus. We will suggest resources and referrals so you can make an informed decision about your pregnancy. You may have questions such as:

  • What's the best choice for me - parenting, adoption, or abortion?

  • Are there resources to help me after I make a choice?

We're sure you have lots of questions so we're hoping we can answer your most important ones. Please contact us if you have other questions. We can help!

A. Parenting classes are offered on an Individual basis. Clients can make an appointment during our regular business hours or drop in to see if we have a peer counselor available. You can take any one of our 150 classes currently being offered.

A. Absolutely! We offer parenting classes all the way through adolescence and we offer assistance with clothes up to size 6.

A. Yes. We perform ultrasounds between 6 and 20 weeks pregnant. We perform limited obstetric ultrasounds to confirm an intrauterine pregnancy, confirm viability via heartbeat, and gestational age. We cannot reveal gender and this should not replace prenatal care.

A. Yes. Children are always welcome! We have toys in all of our classrooms.

A. Absolutely. Fathers are always welcome. We even have some classes designed specifically for dads.

A. We do accept car seats as long as they are not expired and have not been in an accident.

A. Absolutely. We offer assistance and classes to anyone raising a child. We do not require documentation that you have legal custody of the child.
